A Filipina maid was fired after her employer slipped on a wet floor and was taken to hospital in Hong Kong on Monday. The 49-year-old Filipina had just mopped the floor at her employer’s home in Kowloon’s Tsim Sha Tsui on Monday, the Sing Tao Daily reported.
The female employer, who suffered a head injury, reported the case to police and was sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment. After being discharged from hospital, she fired the maid.
Cheung Kit-man, the chairman of the Hong Kong Employment Agencies Association, said if employers were not happy with their domestic workers they should issue a verbal warning or send a warning letter before dismissing them.
Kaya nga buang na amo yan. Nag mo mop ang katulong,shempre wet ang sahig..tapos nadulas ang Hindi marunong maglakad ,kasalanan nung katulong?buang talaga.

A lot of crazy chinese employers should be screened regarding treatment towards their maids. If you’re not dumb and stupid enough, why blame the maid just because you slipped on a wet floor. Did the maid force you to walk on a wet floor?

Its humid so if we mop the floor it wont dry quick so why blame the maid? The employer is juz absolutely stupid and ddnt used her senses and eyes to feel and see the floor is wet! Being unreasonable huh!
