More than 330,000 people have registered for a lucky draw to get a free Hong Kong Disneyland ticket on Tuesday.
The theme park launched an online lucky draw, the “More Disney Fun for Everyone” Lucky Draw, to offer 50,000 free one-day admission tickets to Hong Kong residents for them to visit the park next year, according to the park’s website.
A one-day admission ticket for an adult costs HK$589 (US$75).
To enter the lucky draw, participants must be a Hong Kong resident holding either a Hong Kong Identity Card. For those under 11, a Hong Kong birth certificate and recent school handbook issued by a school in Hong Kong, or other legal documents with photo identification are needed.
Domestic workers are eligible to join the lucky draw, Ta Kung Pao reported. However, repeated registration will be disqualified.
In the first four hours the lucky draw started on Tuesday, more than 330,000 people had already registered online, Apple Daily reported.
The enrolment will last until November 16. The lucky draw ticket is non-transferable, not for sale and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other items as the winner has to redeem the ticket in person by showing valid identification documents.
Winners will be announced by reference numbers on November 22 on the official website.
