A 26-year-old domestic worker was arrested on Tuesday for alleged abuse of a child in a flat in Yau Ma Tei in Kowloon.
A woman reported to police at 11pm that she suspected her maid had abused her three-year-old daughter in a flat on Tak Shing Street in Yau Ma Tei, the Oriental Daily reported.
The report did not say what country the maid comes from.
Police arrived and arrested the maid. The girl was sent to a hospital accompanied by her mother for a medical examination.
Apple Daily reported that the little girl told her mother that she was unhappy because the maid touched her private part.
Police classed the case as child abuse and officers are investigating the matter.
According to figures released by the Social Welfare Department, some 477 child abuse cases were reported in the first half of this year. Fifteen of these involved a caregiver as the abuser.
Hmmmm that’s my bad experience in hk before my stupid employer don’t let me to touch his private part of her son wen bathing so how could u avoid the breast of 4 yrs old buy if u do bathing to him thats crazy

3 yrs old only. Does the child really understand that touching her on that private part should make her unhappy. Tell us the situation how did it happen because this post is sending a malicious news without giving a clear situation how did it happen. Demonizing helpers by the employers seems to be just becoming a trend in Hong kong.
Maybe sinabon Yung private parts Ng bata eh may sabon na strong para don, mahapdi ba, eh bata Kaya hayun nasaktan Ng di sinasadya, Alam Naman nating mga girls Kung maglinis nga Tayo talagang as in linis talaga.. sa kanila KC walang hugas hugas..tissue Lang ok na..or wet wipes Lang cla tama na..????????
Kahit anong nationality pa sya sis u can’t avoid na maging concern kc helper parin sya na obligadong magpaligo babae man o lalaki ang alaga mo Syempre matatouch mo talaga, 3yrs old ba naman!

wow it is indeed very ridiculous..it’s hard which side of the story is true but better ask for the doctors statement to prove how true is this… secondly for employers if u dont want the.maid to touch your small kids private parts ..NeVER ever ask your helper to shower your young ones or maybe train the child to clean her own private parts..poor helper….just sad

to the employer : think it before u do that your helper are doing abused to your child because, u get the helper to take care your child so it means need to take a bath especially in a private part if u don’t washed it carefully on a priavate part it make bad smells.. your child is 3 yrs old so need to assist…. or else you go back home clean up your daughter private part. no need the helper… if your child know it how clean it so no need helper to clean and assist but remember she still 3 yrs old..
Same noong 1st time ako dito sa HK nag alaga ako ng bata at napansin ko agad na very sensible sa Ganyan issue ang employer ko kahit bihisan ko lang.mga alaga ko pinapasara ang bintana baka daw may makakita samantalang ang bintana nila ay nakaharap sa dagat kaya pag pinapaliguan ko sila lagi sila tinatanong kung paano ko sila hinugasan so naisip ko naturuan sila na sila mismo maghugas sa maselang bahagbahagi ng katawan nila hanggang umalis ako sa kanila tinuruan ko silang maligo mag isa kasi lumalaki na sila at nang hinde na sila magpaligo sa sunod na helper na sinang ayunan naman my employer ko
omg….what if she’s cleaning only the girl or wiping…sometimes employers are ridiculous too….making a big deal just to fire a maid …

I think this is a false acusation, how can a 26 year old care giver do that to 3 year old ward? Im not a familiar with a job but how can you bath , clean specialy changing diaper,, the possibility to get touch the skin is high, a simple touch does mean with lust, this is a over reaction, maybe the mother dont want the care giver anymore

Me If I take shower or bath my two boys I ask my 4 year old to wash his private parts And my 16months I hold his hands to wash his private parts or I didn’t wash it just egnore it???? To avoid my self in trouble.
