A 26-year-old domestic worker was arrested on Tuesday for alleged abuse of a child in a flat in Yau Ma Tei in Kowloon.
A woman reported to police at 11pm that she suspected her maid had abused her three-year-old daughter in a flat on Tak Shing Street in Yau Ma Tei, the Oriental Daily reported.
The report did not say what country the maid comes from.
Police arrived and arrested the maid. The girl was sent to a hospital accompanied by her mother for a medical examination.
Apple Daily reported that the little girl told her mother that she was unhappy because the maid touched her private part.
Police classed the case as child abuse and officers are investigating the matter.
According to figures released by the Social Welfare Department, some 477 child abuse cases were reported in the first half of this year. Fifteen of these involved a caregiver as the abuser.
Buti marunong na akong mag hugas ng pwet ko. Tawa naman dyan don’t worry is defend naman kung habang pinaliliguan yung bata doon not guilty talaga sya.
In the other hand we also cannot ignore the complain lalo na kung anak natin ang bata.
Let the investigation prove if there any wrongdoing. Or not.

OMG,I’ve taken care of my employers
Two daughters since birth,and as a nanny,i do wash their private part everyday.i even use my hands applying vasseline to their private private parts when ever they complain of irritations.and i think,thats normal as we can’t avoid doing so,since they’re still young.Oh My GOODNESS!

I think the helper just want to make sure that when she bath the kid she wants TO make sure every thing is clean just thinking that the helper will not touch the girl private part for some reason, so we cannot judge right away ,

I question the integrity of the report and how it was handled..That’s why 1st and foremost parents should be the ones to take care and teach their kids special in the handling of their private parts. Not that you let your maids handle everything then.later complain there is abuse .This is ridiculous and crazy.
That is why, even my employer asked me to wash my ward’s private part, i asked the little girl to do it herself. I do the same with my own kids. I taught them how to wash themselves.
same here,mine were use to say i hurt her though it was a big lie and one thing is she use to shout me and i feel.disrespect.

i dont think so na abuse agad agad no evidence pa and bakit naman niya gagawin un,at hwag tau agad manghusga di natin alam king ang tutuo,some use to do that that we nwed to the private part of our ward,but some kids now adays arw very sensitives about thier private part nahihiya na sila kaya siguro sinabi na she is not happy,yaya should just tell her to do.it.
you have the point here and this is true kids dsnt know the consequence of white lies…we cant judge not until proper authorities will find out the truth. its notmal for small kids 5and below smetimes that we do the cleaning for them but be aware and better train the child to so it by themselves or better mke it clear to employers for our safety…
