A 47-year-old Taiwanese man and a 20-year-old Vietnamese woman who were allegedly engaging in prostitution were nabbed by police during a raid of a massage parlor in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.

At 7pm on Sunday, officers from Cianjin Police Station conducted the  raid after receiving citizens’ reports of suspected vice activities on the premises, Taiwan Times reported on Wednesday.

In one compartment of the parlor, police checked on a Vietnamese woman, who failed to produce any identification.

A used condom was found in a garbage bin during a search of the room, prompting the Taiwanese man to admit that they had been having sex. He was arrested for allegedly committing an offense against morality.

A 21-year-old massage-parlor manager was also arrested for allegedly violating the law on maintaining social order.

The Vietnamese woman was arrested for allegedly committing an offense against decency, and since she had also overstayed her visa by more than a month, she was facing deportation.
