Hong Kong faces another cold snap next week with temperatures set to drop to 10 degrees Celsius. An intense winter monsoon will sweep across the south China coast, according to a weather bulletin on the Hong Kong Observatory’s website.

On Thursday, rain will breakout across the region, heralding colder weather, with temperatures gradually dropping over the weekend.

By next Monday, the temperature will hover around 12-degree Celsius. It will remain cold for the following few days, with temperatures hitting 10 degrees Celsius a week on Thursday.

Last month, Hong Kong suffered a week of low temperatures after being hit by a northeast monsoon.
