Two Filipino domestic workers ignored a warning from a woman who asked them to keep their volume low on Hong Kong’s Mass Transit Railway, until they identified her as a compatriot.
Linda and Ella, who had been good friends in the Philippines, met again for the first time after they both got jobs in Hong Kong. The pair met by chance on an MTR train from Central, sunwebhk.com reported.
The pair’s conversation started getting very loud and was disturbing the other passengers. An elderly woman who was seated next to them told them to lower their voices as they were in a public place.
However, Ella rudely answered the woman in Tagalog. “This is a public place and I’m happy,” she said. The woman suddenly spoke in Tagalog herself and reminded her compatriots again that they should be mindful of the effect their behavior had on other people.
Ella and Linda then quieted down because they had not expected that the elderly woman was a Filipino as well. The pair apologized to her for their behavior.
Before getting off the train, the woman reminded the two domestic workers always to behave properly in public places as there are enough Filipinos in Hong Kong who are guilty of unruly behavior.

Hi we had that experienced nung manood kami ng TFC movie premier sa Hku ang ingay po buti sana kung ang topic nila ay yung movie eh nandun pa naman sa highlight ng movie at emotional na ang iba nanonood pero sila mga anim po ang iingay. Last Sunday while we board a train bound to Kennedy town a group of 3 ladies they are talking in a loud voice and laughing as if no one in the train I glanced at them, and I ignored but some if Chinese are staring at them, when we got off at Kennedy they also git off and continue laughing in a loud voice while we are on the scalator so I looked back and told them Ti minimize thier voices ciz they are in public place, they other one say sorry but the other one kept on murmuring so I told them that they might get into trouble if they met a rude Chinese that doesn’t wan’t a noisy people. I always encountered such people, we’re in other place we must behave ourselves, some of our patriots still angry when someone reminded them . We must use etiquettes if we’re in public places. Just sayin.

Yes poh..khit sa ilang public places lalkas ng mga salita nila d lang mapabus or mtr pati sa ibang public places…nakakahiya po tlga sa mga ibang lahi na kung mgsalita sila parang ang layonila sa isat isa…pwede nmn hinain na sila lng nkakarinig…

Basta behave parin tayo, experience ko rin yan sa bus silang apat magkakatabi aysus ang ingay naman nila, kwentuhan nila about friend nila na umuwi At May jowa daw , anu bayan nasa public talaga ang ibang pinay iling2x nalang.
Ayaw nila ng maiingay pero qng sila magsalita kala mo nag aaway away sila..
