A 39-year-old Filipino domestic worker was arrested on Friday for allegedly stealing a diamond ring from her employer in Lam Tin in Kowloon.
At 8:45am, a 39-year-old Hong Kong woman called police and said her maid had stolen a diamond ring worth HK$30,000 (US$3,843) from a flat on Block 19 of Laguna City, Sing Tao Daily reported.
The employer called the police. After investigating, police arrested the maid for suspected theft. She remains in custody, the Oriental Daily reported.
Police are still investigating the matter, which they have categorized as theft.
if proven not guilty this helper should be compensated n employer should be punished heavily….

Just make sure that the helper really did that & not a case of framed up.It’s a serious allegation.
