In an attempt to prevent maids from being exploited, the consulate generals of the Philippines and Indonesia, in Hong Kong, are to share blacklists of employers who have records of abusing their domestic workers.
Complaints against employers are usually filed by domestic helpers and their acquaintances, or by employment agencies or neighbours of the employer families, Ming Pao Daily reported, citing the Indonesian consul for manpower and labour, Iroh Baroroh. Five people are now on the blacklist due to cases related to abuse, sexual harassment or unpaid wages.
Two Hong Kong women said in the report that they had been barred from hiring maids by the Filipino and Indonesian consulate generals, respectively. They complained that it was too easy for maids to put their employers on the blacklists.
However, the Chairman of the Hong Kong Employment Agencies Association, Cheung Kit-man, said the consulates only blacklisted employers against whom there was ample evidence of abuse.

We just not here to work but to protect our right also they state in our contruct have food allowance burbif u ask they said you can cook everything u want but always check d freedge whatbis messing,sir,madamm an egg a dau is not enough for helper working 24! hours a day…

Its was great….. There’s a lot of employers dosent give a proper food and accommodation, they shout there helper anywhere, some also they will ask the helper to work during holidays, they take the passport of the helper and so many violations more…. Is just right that the employer will block list too..
You can behave ur maid if u are good not bloclisted right? Domestic helper is not a animal u treat good
I dont undestand so many employers ,are abusive ti thier DH ,but it can still hire ,not 1 ,not 2 more than ,5 to 10 how come the immg.cant detect.this abusing employer,using thier HKID,and Address
well,still many bad employer outside there , because i always founded many employees was cheating by they boss, but didn’t want to report them, the reasons is because they don’t want staying logger in hk, just because reporting they employer

We are same… Helper need money and boss need our work.. So if u are good no matter what right
