미시간 대학의 소비심리 조사 결과는 소비자들 사이에서 불확실성이 퍼져있음을 보여준다. 만일 ISM 보고서처럼 서비스업 부문이 급격히 둔화된다면 미국 소비자들은 씀씀이를 줄이고, 미국 경제 성장은 둔화될 것이다.
