Twenty-one foreign women and two Malaysian men suspected of running a prostitution service were arrested at a massage parlor in Selangor, Malaysia, after a police raid in the early hours of Friday.

At about 1 am on May 10, officers from the Selangor Anti-Vice, Gambling and Secret Societies Division (D7) stormed the two-story building in Bandar Puteri Puchong in Petaling district of Selangor, where 21 women were arrested for allegedly abusing their social pass, the China Press reported.

Intelligence suggested that these women – 16 from Vietnam, four from Indonesia and one from Thailand – were also illegally working as prostitutes in individual rooms on the second story of the building.

Officers also recovered 120 condoms, tubes of lubricants, toilet rolls and cash as evidence at the scene. Two Malaysian men were arrested for allegedly working as caretakers guarding the outlet for the prostitution syndicate.

All of the suspects were taken to the district police headquarters.
