Isang Filipina domestic worker na pinaghihinalaang minaltrato ng kanyang mga employer sa Saudi Arabia ay bumalik na sa Pilipinas.

Sinabi ng Department of Foreign Affairs nitong Martes na si Cristina Arado ay iniligtas ng Philippine Consulate sa Jeddah matapos itong maabisuhan sa sitwasyon ng Filipina, iniulat ng Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Si Arado ay napilitan na magtrabaho sa maramihang kabahayan at kinumpiska ang kanyang pasaporte at mobile phone.

Dumating ang Filipina sa Maynila noong Martes ng gabi at muling nakasama sa kanyang ina sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

“Nagpapasalamat siya at ang kanyang ina sa tulong ng DFA,” sabi ng DFA sa tweet.

Mayroong 10 milyong Pilipinong migranteng manggagawa sa ibang bansa, karamihan sa kanila ay nagtatrabaho bilang mga walang kakayahang manggagawa at mga domestic worker. Ang mga kaso ng maltreatment at pang-aabuso ay hindi karaniwan.

  1. Por defecto el volumen tanto del altavoz para el timbre de llamada manos libres como del auricular vienen con un volumen reducido pero se tarda 1 minuto en cambiarlo facilmente. El servicio tecnico es inexistente, porque hay que llamar a un para que vengan a recogerlo, con el consiguiente gasto de telefono. En realidad es así, por defecto el volumen de la llamada es bajo, lo cual no supone ningún problema y en mi caso ha sido cambiar la melodía de llamada por otra y poner más volumen en la configuración del terminal.
