A male nurse in Indonesia was found dead at a hospital on March 26 after he reportedly injected himself with leftover sedatives.

The body of 21-year-old Agung Nugraha was found in the lounge of the Adam Thalib General Hospital in Bekasi, West Java, The Jakarta Post reported. He was found lying on a chair with his face blue and his arm covered in track marks.

According to local police, Nugraha had allegedly injected rocuronium bromide. Rocuronium bromide is a sedative used to relax muscles and calm the body.

Three syringes, three swab sachets and other substances were found at the scene as well. The number of track marks on his body suggested he often injected himself with sedatives.

The hospital said leftover sedatives were kept in the lounge before being discarded. Authorities were exploring the possibility that the hospital may have been negligent in dealing with leftover substances.
