CCTV footage taken in West Java, Indonesia that captured a woman allegedly abducting a 3-year-old girl has gone viral on social media.
The footage was obtained at the Al-Amin Mosque on Jalan Bintara Jaya III in the city of Bekasi on April 9, The Jakarta Post reported. A woman wearing a red headscarf can be seen putting the girl on her lap in the mosque’s yard at around 9:38am before taking her away.
Sri Wahyuni, the grandmother of Anisa Suci Ardiwibowo, said her granddaughter went out to play around the mosque building near home as she often did.
When her grandmother went looking for Anisa at around 10am, she could only find her sandals in the mosque yard. A staff member at the mosque named Sutarno said he saw an old woman approach the little girl and give her food before taking her away.
A kidnapping complaint has been filed with the police.
