A 16-year-old Filipina was allegedly gang-raped by her drinking mates in Tondo, Manila, on Wednesday. The girl, whose identity was not disclosed, said she had been invited by her friend Paul Cedrick Diwa,18, to have drinks at his house.

She said after drinking several shots, she felt dizzy and lost consciousness, GMA News reported.

When she slowly regained consciousness, she was allegedly being raped by Angelito Gonzales, 25, one of their drinking mates. Another suspect, 20-year-old Prince Jomari Diwa, was allegedly watching the young Filipina being raped.

She managed to get home and told her parents what happened and they reported it to police. On Tuesday morning, police arrested three suspects, who denied raping the girl.

However, Gonzales admitted he had sex with her, but said he was not the first. He said there were two others who entered the room where the girl was. Police believe the suspects may have drugged the girl by spiking her drink, causing her to lose consciousness.

Police said they were searching for three other suspects the girl named in the complaint. The three who were caught will face charges of rape in relation to Republic Act 7610 or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act.
