Ang babala ay inilabas noong Martes ng isang opisyal sa Philippine Consulate General. Tiningnan ng opisyal ang kaso at nalaman na buhay ang manggagawa at nagtatrabaho pa sa Hong Kong.
Sinabi ng opisyal na nakipag-usap siya sa ama ng domestic worker sa Pilipinas, na nakarinig ng apela at nababahala sa kanyang anak na babae.
Ang opisyal ay nagbabala na ang mga domestic overseas workers na nagpo-post ng pekeng impormasyon at pagkatapos ay tumatanggap ng mga donasyon ay maaaring singilin ng panlilinlang sa ilalim ng ordinansa ng pagnanakaw ng Hong Kong at mananagot sa pagkakasala hanggang sa pagkabilanggo ng 10 taon.
