Si Noah Domingo, 18, isang mag-aaral ng biological science sa unang taon sa University of California sa lungsod ng Irvine, ay isang miyembro ng Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at dumalo sa isang fraternity party gabi ng Enero 11 ngayong taon. Kinabukasan, nakatanggap ang pulisya ng isang tawag na hindi tumutugon si Domingo sa isang bahay sa labas ng kampus. Siya ay idineklarang patay bandang 9:40 ng umaga, ngunit pinaniniwalaan na namatay siya mga anim na oras pa bago ito.
Sinabi ng Opisina ng Orange Country Coroner na ang sanhi ng kamatayan ay matutukoy mula sa mga resulta ng toksikolohiya pagkatapos ng autopsy. Dahil sa insidente, pinagbawalan ng Unibersidad ang lahat ng mga aktibidad sa fraternity.
Noong Lunes, ipinahayag ng pulisya na namatay si Domingo dahil sa aksidenteng pagkalason ng alkohol. Ang ulat ng autopsy ni Domingo ay ipapadala sa Opisina ng Abugado ng Distrito upang malaman kung ang sinuman ay dapat managot sa kanyang kamatayan.
Sinabi ng mga awtoridad mula sa Unibersidad na susuriin nila na ang mga fraternidad ng campus at sororidad at makikibahagi sa mga pag-uugali at gawi na nakabatay sa mga patakaran ng unibersidad.
