Isang Amerikanong lalaki ay naaresto sa Pampanga sa Pilipinas dahil sa pamamahagi ng Child pornography online.
Ayon kay Bob Raquepo, pinuno ng Bureau of Immigration – Fugitive Search Unit (BI-FSU), dumating si Gary James Dakulil sa Pilipinas noong Enero matapos siyang mahatulan dahil sa pamamahagi ng child pornography sa Minnesota sa Estados Unidos, iniulat ng GMA News.
Ang US Diplomatic Security Service’s Office of Overseas Criminal Investigation ang nag utos ng pagdakip kay Dakulil sa Pilipinas. Kinansela ng Kagawaran ng Estados Unidos ang pasaporte ni Dakulil, na ginawa siyang isang di-dokumentadong dayuhan sa Pilipinas.
Sinabi ni Raquepo na nagtayo si Dakulil ng isang business shop sa Pampanga, na naging legal na pantakip upang ipagpatuloy ang produksyon at pamamahagi ng materyal na porno sa online. Nagplano din si Dakulil na kumalap ng mga menor de edad para sa kanyang ilegal na kalakalan, ayon sa kanya.
Pagkalipas ng ilang linggo ng surveillance, nakita ng BI-FSU si Dakulil at inaresto siya sa kanyang dalawang-palapag na villa sa Pampanga noong unang bahagi ng Huwebes ng umaga. Si Dakulil ay dadalhin pabalik sa US, kung saan haharapin niya ang judicial process.
