An Indonesian man who was arrested at an airport for carrying 400 bullet casings in his luggage was released after it was revealed he had done nothing illegal.
The 36-year-old man, from Bukit Pakis Utara in Surabaya, was arrested at Juanda International Airport in Surabaya after an X-Ray revealed metal objects in his luggage, triggering a search, The Jakarta Post reported.
Five packages wrapped in tape and 400 shell casings – that were mistaken to be bullets – were found in his luggage. The man flew into the country with three family members on a Chian Airlines flight from Taiwan. He claimed he had bought the casings in Oregon in the United States while he was on holiday.
Frans Barung, the spokesperson for the East Java Police, said the man was no longer under arrest because he was carrying bullet casings only and not ammunition. In the Indonesian legal system, unauthorized people found guilty of bringing firearms, ammunition and any explosives into Indonesian territory can be given the death penalty. The regulation, however, does not cover shell casings.

Hey there! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with hackers? My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing a few months of hard work due to no backup. Do you have any solutions to protect against hackers?
