The Philippine government has announced that the United Arab Emirates is looking to hire 150 qualified Filipino emergency medical technicians (EMT).

In a statement , the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) said the National Ambulance Company in Abu Dhabi is seeking EMTs with at least eight months’ experience.

“The leading pre-hospital emergency care provider in the UAE accepts female or male applicants,” POEA said.

POEA said interested applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in nursing and have completed an internationally recognized Basic EMT course or other similar training of not less than four months’ duration.

Applicants are advised to register online at the POEA website and submit the required documents to their office office in Mandaluyong City before January 31. Applicants are required to submit their resumé, a copy of their diploma, passport, driver’s license and certificate of their online registration.

On Monday, the POEA announced they were accepting applications to fill 400 nursing positions in Germany. POEA’s central and regional offices will be accepting applications for these posts until February 28, 2019. Those who qualify will be interviewed by employers in March.
