A man crashed his car in central India after trying to avoid hitting a pack of wild boars that emerged out of nowhere, only to be killed after the car rolled and slammed into a tree.
At around 6am on January 4, Bichana Yadav, a farmer-turned-politician, hit the brakes in his car when the boars suddenly rushed onto a road in the Chengomul area of Vikarabad, Telangana, the Times of India reported.
According to police, Yadav, 42, was on his way to Hyderabad, the state capital, with two friends, P Rama Krishna and K Madhu. They said Yadav succumbed to injuries from the crash but his two friends were lucky to only sustain minor injuries.
Local police officer SI Arun said that Yadav served his car off the road and crashed into a tree, which left the vehicle a total wreck.
Police said the victim was reportedly not wearing a seatbelt during the crash. His car rolled over and slammed into a tree.
