The Wuyuan scenic spot in Jiangxi province is offering a 50% discount on entry tickets for visitors that are using domestic brands of mobile phones, The Paper reported.

The full price of the ticket is 210 yuan (US$30.47) per person, while domestic phone users only need to pay 105 yuan. The promotion takes immediate effect until January 2, 2019.

This is not the first time that Chinese tourist attractions have given discounts to mobile phone users.

The Shennong Mountain scenic spot in Henan province was the first to offer free entry to Huawei mobile phone users since last Sunday. Since then, several tourists attractions have introduced similar discounts for Huawei users.

Hu Bo, a manager from Kongshan White Cloud Cave scenic spot in Hebei province, said they are doing what they can to support the nation, calling it an act of patriotism.
