A Saudi Arabian man has been arrested for allegedly trying to rape a masseuse in his hotel room in Makati City in the Philippines.

On Tuesday night Almutairi Muteb Ateeo Allah, 44, a tourist staying at the St. Giles Hotel, hired a Filipino woman for a massage session inside his room, Philippine Daily Inquirer reported.

The Southern Police District said that Allah had been drinking heavily and asked the masseuse to stay for two more hours after the massage. When the masseuse declined, the man allegedly undressed her and touched her inappropriately while trying to force himself on her.

The masseuse managed to escape the man’s room and went to the hotel lobby, where the man followed her and started a commotion. A security guard tried restraining the man but was slapped by him.

The Saudi man is now in custody at the Makati City Police and will face charges for attempted rape, physical injury, alarm, scandal and resisting arrest.
