An Indonesian factory worker was found dead on Oct. 2 at a sago factory in Dalat, Malaysia, in a suspected suicide. The deceased, an unnamed 25-year-old man, had been silent and depressed for days before he was found hanging at the workers’ quarters, the New Straits Times reported.

His body was found by his co-workers after he failed to show up for work. Local police chief Deputy Superintendent Roslan Leman said preliminary investigations had ruled out any foul play.

Leman added that the man’s depression could have been caused by being away from his family in West Kalimantan. His body was sent to the Mukah Hospital where there will be an autopsy.
