A Filipino domestic worker in Qatar has pleaded to be rescued after claiming she was raped three times by her employer. The 28-year-old claimed she was raped by her employer three times – once in August, on Sept. 3 and Sept. 11.

She said her employer took her to an area in the house where there were no security cameras and raped her while his wife was out of the house, GMA News reported

The domestic worker said she could not escape from her employer’s house as the doors and windows were locked and chained. She said she was not allowed to leave the house alone and she did not have anywhere to run as she does not know anyone in Qatar.

She pleaded for help on social media and gained the attention of GMA News and a migrant group called Ang Kaagapay ng Bawat OFW Migrant Rights Advocates.

The migrant group then notified the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) of her situation and they are working on helping her. Hans Cacdac, an administrator of OWWA, said they have received the details of the woman’s address and were working on rescuing her.
