Former presidential adviser Omarosa Manigault Newman said she secretly recorded conversations she had in the White House, including her firing by Chief of Staff John Kelly.

Bits of her conversation with the former marine in the high-security Situation Room were played on the air when she appeared as a guest on the National Broadcasting Co’s Meet the Press program to promote her new book, Unhinged, which is being released next week. Kelly is heard referring to potential “difficulty” in Manigault Newman’s future “relative to your reputation.”

In her book, Manigault Newman paints an ugly picture of Donald Trump, including claiming there are tapes of him using the N-word during the filming of his The Apprentice reality TV series, which she co-starred on.

The White House claims Omarosa’s allegation that President Trump is racist is “false.”
