A Filipino nurse won first runner-up in this year’s Man of the World pageant. The competition was held on Saturday in San Juan City in Manila, Philippines.
Clint Karkliñs Peralta, 26, whose father is Filipino and mother is Polish-Latvian, represented the Philippines in this year’s pageant and competed against 26 contestants from countries around the world, ABS-CBN News reported
The winner of the pageant was Xuan Tai from Vietnam. Bjorn Camiller from Malta took the second runner-up place, Ondrej Valetna from the Czech Republic took third runner-up and Natapol Srisarn from Thailand was fourth runner-up.
Peralta graduated with a degree in nursing from the Universidad de Sta. Isabel in Camarines Sur and is a public health nurse at the Department of Health in the Philippines. He is also a professional model.
He was chosen to represent the Philippines in this year’s pageant after winning the Man of the World Philippines title last year.
