A Filipino migrant worker was arrested after allegedly threatening in jest to blow up an airliner while he was on a flight to Manila from Saudi Arabia.
On June 18, Alvin Malimban was arrested at Metro Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 after the plane landed, The Philippine Star reported.
According to Marissa Galvez, chief flight steward, she had refused to serve Malimban a third glass of wine because of his unruly behavior toward the airline staff. He then tried to steal a bottle of wine but was caught by a staff member.
Instead of apologizing, Malimban threatened to blow up the plane with a bomb, which caused panic among the passengers.
When the plane landed in Manila, airport police arrested Malimban. He faces several charges, including violating Presidential Decree 1727, also known as the Anti-Bomb Joke Law.
By the way , my son is an airline pilot. I care. I really do.

Agree. Yun sa mga nakakaintindi at kontrolado yung alcohol level. Kaso may kabayan na sadyang alam, pag alak libre akala nila to death. Kaya resulta, praning. Ito yung iniiwasan ng Saudia Airlines kaya no tolerance sa alcohol. Eh, kaso Philippine airline yung sinakyan niya (siguro) so ayan yung resulta ng sobrang freedom o human rights.

To work in Saudi Arabia in an extended period affects the mental ability of every Filipino worker. Days and nights the urge for denied alcohol worsens in Saudi Arabia and a denied dream of having the first opportunity inside an airline aggrevates the matter which erupts into a temporary insanity. This was it no less no more. Much less was this subject taken in account by airlines customer service plying this route?

He was judged quickly cos it was based on posted news and your argumentative regarding flight attendant fails to serves wine to passenger is not the case on this issue. The main point was the uncontrolled gross behavior and the frightening threats were to blow up the plane! Do you understand the context of the news or you just want to bring up subject out of the context?

You failed the point. UNCIVILIZED meaning BEHAVIOR SUCH THAT MORON BOARDED THE PLANE. Of course you’re right all human have right to board any commercial flights as long as they should behave according to aviation protocol. In fact even animal has right to do so. But those with mental disorder proper medical documentation should be required according to airlines standard policy.
