Two Filipinos face deportation after immigration officials found them working illegally in a luxury car dealer’s home in Taipei.
Identified only as Nancy and Mary, the two women had been employed by car distributor Chang Po-shin, chairman of Yan San Corporation, Taiwan News reported.
They were discovered hiding in Chang’s home when the National Immigration Agency officials arrived on March 20. Nancy had worked for Chang for five years, caring for his Old English Sheepdog. Mary had worked in the apartment for six months on a part-time basis.
Chang could face a fine of NT$1.5 million (US$51,504) for illegally employing the two domestic workers. The women were taken to a detention centre and will be deported back to the Philippines.
Oh ..thats too sad..got good salary but in the end u will be deported and might not get a job outside the country ..
Its always good to have a simple but its legal job
Sad to Hear That????But we have a due Process
Good jobs Sir.
Anything new? Let us see who won’t be able to squeeze them out of this sticky situation. Unless of course you have poor analytical skills. Lol!
analytical skills???

The Filipinas will be indefinitely detained until all their documents are fully processed. They’ll be blacklisted and won’t be able to come back here for a very long time. The employer will be able to "bribe" the system and will not need to pay the whole penalty amount and after a few months will be able to get other domestic helpers to take care of their aging "old English sheep dog". Life moves on for the employer, but what will happen to the blacklisted Filipinas? Which part is hard to understand? Who is on the "losing" end (as always)? Unless you are new here in Taiwan. This is how it usually goes. Check what "Edith Ebora Magtibay" said below.
I think 10yrs after bgo cla mkapgabroad ult… Kwawa tlga ????
As far as I know, employers were the ones to apply for their work visas.
