A young Filipina singer received a standing ovation when her performance took her into the semi-finals of ‘Ireland’s Got Talent.’ Shaniah Rollo, who recently moved to Dublin, was the youngest contestant to make it to the semi-finals of the competition, the Manila Bulletin reported.

Rollo sang her rendition of ‘True Colors’, a song made popular by Cindy Lauper, and received a standing ovation from the audience and the four judges. The judges praise Rollo’s singing ability and were impressed by the fact that she had not received any training.

When asked what would she do if she won the competition, Rollo said she would use the prize money of 50,000 euros (US$61,718) to fly her siblings from the Philippines to Ireland so her family will be together.

The winner of ‘Ireland’s Got Talent’ will receive 50,000 euros and their own primetime Christmas television special.
