A 45-year-old Filipino domestic worker in Hong Kong has died after being found unconscious in her employer’s bathroom.
On January 9, Erlinda Diego Cabulong, who had worked in Hong Kong for 15 years, was found unconscious in the bathroom by her employer Josephine Ngan in her Tuen Mun apartment, sunwebhk.com reported.
Ngan rushed Cabulong to Tuen Mun Hospital but she was pronounced dead on arrival at 8:15am. The cause of Cabulong’s death is not known.
Mercedes Jasmin Diego, Cabulong’s sister, said she could not believe her sister died so suddenly as she was not suffering from any illnesses.
Cabulong’s family had communicated with her the night before she died.
Diego said their family was waiting for the autopsy results before Cabulong’s body can be sent back to the Philippines. Ngan had agreed to send Cabulong’s body back to Manila but her family has to transport it back to their province in Quirino.

sometimes, there are unattended health problems which reaults to serious threat to the body, specially when there are no symptoms and the body keeps on functioning,my nephew, was regularly working,one morning he was on board a bus in California, suddenly he passed out, the driver called 911,but unfortunately he died.
Maryann Faa siguro hindi nagsasabi si Erlinda, hindi tayo pwedeng magbintang agad agad, dahil karaniwan domestic helpers do not disclose their pain and ailments sa amo , worried na baka sila ma termninate, ilang helpers na ang nakausap ko na they are worried na malaman ng mga amo na may dinaramdam sila.

Ang kaibigan ko din dito sa hk namatay din,di xa nagpapa doktor walng sakit at anuman pero dina nagising kinabukasan ang alaga nya ay matanda na babae，ako ang nagasikaso ng kanyang bangkay kinuha ko result ng autopsy nya at walang foul play kundi may pumutok sa banda ng neck nya gang sa ulo kaya di xa nagising na ako din nag lakad ng death certificate nya ..di basta basta dahil makipagugnayan ka pa sa nagasikaso ng kanyang katawan ang coroner or sa funeral pa tapos ako din naglakad sa Owwa para makuha nh asawa nya ang bepisyo nakakuha ng 150k…gang ngayon nasa akin pa lahat mga kopya from coroners at result ng autopsy at death certificate nya

Unlikely the gas heater as there is always a flow of air in HK homes; they are obsessed with it. Wait for the autopsy before speculating anything. So sad that another hard worker has died, many condolanses to her family and friends.

So many things could have happened 🙁 Slipped and fell in the bathroom, heart attack, stroke. So many things sadly. Coroner report will come out. . May the lovely lady RIP 🙁
