A domestic worker died after falling unconscious in a public housing estate’s parking lot in Hong Kong’s New Territories on Saturday morning.
At 7:49am, the maid fainted while cleaning a vehicle on the first floor of the parking area of Wo Che Estate in Sha Tin, Headline Daily reported.
When paramedics arrived at the scene, she was lying unconscious near the vehicle. A pair of slippers, a bucket and some cleaning tools were found near her.
She was sent to Prince of Wales Hospital but was pronounced dead after initially being resuscitated, Oriental Daily reported.
Media reports did not state the nationality of the deceased.
Police are investigating the cause of her death.
Let’s not speculate first,cause as far as they said the employer were good and kind..we don’t know what’s the real cause ..let’s just wait for the autopsy report..this is not middle East.. definitely the result is not a pre meditated

Maybe hungry not enough food,not enough sleep,overworked,pressured ,everyday scolded being scolded/mistreatment,family problem.These are the main problems of many ofws.Let us hope for the International Labor Law to look into the more than 10 hours worked of almost all ofws.Mga kabayan kung hindi kaya ang sitwasyon sa amo humanap mg iba kasi kalusugan at buhay natin ang nakataya.Makakahanap din ng mas magandang amo.
