A domestic worker died after falling unconscious in a public housing estate’s parking lot in Hong Kong’s New Territories on Saturday morning.
At 7:49am, the maid fainted while cleaning a vehicle on the first floor of the parking area of Wo Che Estate in Sha Tin, Headline Daily reported.
When paramedics arrived at the scene, she was lying unconscious near the vehicle. A pair of slippers, a bucket and some cleaning tools were found near her.
She was sent to Prince of Wales Hospital but was pronounced dead after initially being resuscitated, Oriental Daily reported.
Media reports did not state the nationality of the deceased.
Police are investigating the cause of her death.

I was arrived here in Hongkong year 1992 my first employer was Chinese family with two kids I slept at 12:30am then I need to wake up at 4:30am everyday I need to clean the car. During my holiday I have a curfew 9:00pm. If my off was Sunday I need to wait for them at the exit door because they did not give a key for me. I waited until 2:00 AM. It happened for me that I almost collapse I went to the doctor. I terminated my contract.
I guess we need to so the health care test every 6months will u agree???

Pls to all employers,you mush take responsibility with your helper,specialy foods and medication when they get sick.always remeber that the money that you pay for them is not enough..to serve you and your family is a big responsibily,and sacrifices..to work without food is too difficult..you’ll get dizzy,and get weak..we as a helper,we came into your country not only to find money for our family,but to help you also..think about it,sir,ma’am.can you just try to work hard without any food in your tummy?pls we beg you all employers,i know that not all employers is they don’t care.but i am just writing this just to remind those employer who don’t care aaboit their helper..concern of filipino herlper..thank you

I really don"t believe na mabait at ok ang amo..dahil kong ok sila hindi yan maglihim ang maid ng kanyang karamdaman bagkus open sya sa kanila..may iba kasi na nagsasabing ok ang amo sa mga frend dahil ayaw mapahiya…base mo na lang ngayon..nagcolappse .sa agang yan..umpisa pa lang ng work.pero kong nagising ng alas kwatro to cook yan ay stress na.
Same as helper dito hk baka pagod at puyat puyat yan kasi ako puyat at pagod ako pag mag carwash ako nahihilo ako..so may tendency na mahihimatay ka.
