A video posted on Facebook showing an injured husky apparently being abused by a maid in Singapore has been taken down at the dog owner’s request, and authorities are investigating the case.
The owner of the dog, who had been away at the time of the alleged abuse, said the husky had been experiencing walking difficulties due to a rheumatic disorder.
The video, apparently shot by a neighbor, shows the animal, with a piece of gauze covering a wound on its left hip, lying on the ground whining. The maid appears and hits it on the head with a stainless-steel dog-food bowl.
At 10pm on Sunday, a netizen named Yeow Min Quan wrote a Facebook post and attached the video, Lianhe Wanbao (Singapore) reported.
Yeow said he had reported the alleged abuse case to the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA), which in turn made an appeal to the public for further information that would assist in its the investigation of the case.
The family who own the dog is following up the case with the AVA.
What is the reason why she did that to the dog?sometimes we don’t know maybe the employer they love their dogs the most than the helper,.maybe they buy more foods for the dog than the helper,thats why the helper get angry with the dog,because she get jelous.????????????????.

I hv a soft corner n sympathize with maids being abused…… but it’ll infuriate me to the max when i hear news of animals, especially dogs ill-treated n abused!!!!….. Now, I wish to hv my hands on this bloody maid!!!….punish her.!…Get her to work in an animal shelter or SPCA…… Get her to serve the dogs there for a year or so….. No wages, just 3 meals a day….
