A 38-year-old Filipina domestic worker was charged 0n Tuesday, at the Kwun Tong Magistrates’ Courts in Hong Kong’s Kowloon district, with one count of child abuse.
Apple Daily reports that the defendant, Gina Cannu Buduan, is accused of abusing a two-year-old girl in October this year at a flat in Tseung Kwan O, in the city’s New Territories.
The court heard that the woman’s female employer found red spots on her two-year-old daughter’s private parts. It is alleged that the domestic worker tried to put a vibrator on the girl’s private parts.
The defendant had worked in Hong Kong since 2016.
Oriental Daily reports that the judge postponed the trial until December 13 and ordered detailed medical reports from the prosecutor. The judge also rejected a bail application from the accused, who was remanded in custody. She was not asked to make a plea.

well, she need to show that cctv in the court to proved that the helper is guilty
maybe the kid found or seen the person who used it and tried also to herself as we both all know that at that aged kids are curious to try everything what the seen for the adults one especially if they idolized the person who uses it. but anyway, God is watching no lies can hide in his eyes. you can lied to your co people’s but you will pay for what you have done wrong on him. only truth can clean conscience if all this news was just to ruin the reputation of that person evolved of the socalled abuse..
It takes only a crazy maniac phaedopile to do something like that to a 2 yrs. old child. That employer is falsely accusing her, that I believe unless she can provide a strong proof of evidence to justify her accusations. The news stated that the Filipina “TRIED” to put the vibrator. The question is,“ why will she do such a thing when she can do it on hers if she feels the urge for the act?” Why to the child and why it didn’t happen and the report said she only tried to put? Hk has a fair justice system. If she didn’t do it she has to insist on a NOT GUILTY plea.
Euca Lyp Tus no the child’s mother is mad going with the trend of abusive employers who wants to make an issue by accusing falsely of child abuse. Remember the Filipina who was acquitted in HK from the same case? The judge at the lower circuit misjudged it and the judge at the higher court looked it over and found there was no strong evidence that supports the accusation. Vase was acquitted.
