Police are hunting two Filipinas who assaulted a female compatriot at the barbecue area on Deep Water Bay on southern Hong Kong Island on Thursday.
At 3am, a 45-year-old Filipino domestic worker had a quarrel with two maids from another group, Oriental Daily reported.
It was understood that the three women were all maids but belonged to two different groups, which had their own parties at Deep Water Bay beach to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
The quarrel turned physical, with the women pushing each other. The 45-year-old maid was pushed to the ground and injured her forehead, hands and legs.
Her friend reported the case to the police immediately but the two attackers escaped.
The injured maid was sent to hospital but discharged after medical treatment.
Police arrived and searched around the scene but found no suspects. They classed the case as assault causing bodily harm and are hunting the two Filipinas.
Three women reportedly knew each other and had a grudge against each other, Sing Tao Daily reported.
