A day after top aide to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Daniel Jean, arrived in Pyongyang, a Korean-Canadian pastor, Lim Hyeon-soo was released from detention on Wednesday, after having been sentenced to life in prison with hard labor two years ago.
The visit by the Canadian envoy and the release of the prisoner are welcome signs of de-escalation of tensions between Pyongyang and the West, following President Trump’s warning of “fire and fury” on Tuesday.
America’s top diplomat also tried to ease tensions following his tour of Southeast Asia.
“Americans should sleep well at night, have no concerns about this particular rhetoric of the last few days,” Tillerson told reporters Wednesday. Trump “felt it necessary to issue a very strong statement directed at North Korea,” he added.

North Koreans do not sleep well at night at all with US bases and annual provocations of 350,000 men holding "exercises?" on its borders. USA is stupid and childish in pretending to not understand that NK seeks a strategic deterrent against invasion and war.
This goodwill gesture by NK will be wasted again.
