A Japanese motorcyclist and two children with their domestic helper who had been traveling in a taxi were injured in a four-vehicles crash in Kowloon City on Saturday.
At 2pm, two motorcycles were on the Argyle Street flyover in Kowloon City heading toward San Po Kong. As they were decelerating while going down a slope near Kowloon Hospital, one of the bikes suddenly skidded, possibly on oil on the road, and crashed into the other motorcycle, Oriental Daily reported.
When a taxi that had been traveling behind the motorcycles braked to avoid them, another taxi was unable to stop in time, and crashed into the first cab.
A 52-year-old Japanese motorcyclist sustained injuries to his hands and legs.
Three passengers in the second taxi – a 47-year-old domestic helper, an eight-year-old boy and his four-year-old sister – suffered lip, nose and abdomen injuries.
The four injured people were sent to hospital, Sing Pao Daily reported.
The flyover was closed for investigation of the crash.
