A 92-year-old Hong Kong man was arrested on Monday for allegedly attacking a 26-year-old Indonesian domestic worker with a knife in an apartment in Sheung Shui, New Territories, on Monday.

At 7am, the man scolded his maid in an apartment in Tower 6 of Noble Hill on Ma Sik Road as he was purportedly dissatisfied with her work, Oriental Daily reported.

He reportedly lost his temper and stabbed the maid’s right arm. She  fled from the apartment and sought help from a neighbor, who called the police.

Police arrested the elderly man for suspected common assault. The maid sustained a minor injury and was discharged after treatment in the hospital, Sing Tao Daily reported.
