Japan lodged a formal protest with China on Thursday after Chinese coastguard vessels entered Japanese-claimed territorial waters and a suspected drone flew near a ship, reports Reuters.
“The Senkaku islands are Japan’s inherent territory and the entry into the territorial waters by the Chinese government ships is absolutely unacceptable,” an official from the Japanese Foreign Ministry was quoted as saying.
China has consistently rejected Japan’s criticism of these patrols and claims the islands, known by the Chinese as Diaoyu, as its territory.
Japan already unofficially started a new war on China.
They are sending special teams to other countries to propel their view of China in bad light, in think tanks and other civic/govenrment events. This includes US, India, SK, Taiwan, some SE countries, some African countries.
On other side of coin they are hosting dissidents from China provinces with ethnical minority from inner mogolia to tibet to hongkong and Taiwan and more and involve them in "independece" discussions.
If war ever starts over the diaoyu islands (the first original name given by Chinese, Japan used Chinese one until 19th ceuntry when they took over during a war) its because of a much broader relationship breakdown from all others things thats going on.
This sounds like the plot to a Three Stooges movie. If anyone goes to war over these uninhabited rocks, it will go down in history as one of the dumbest wars ever.
"The Senkaku islands are Japan’s inherent territory"
Yeah the old imperial japan grabbed it while during a war Japan started on China. Nice way to gain "inherent territory" eh? Wonder why Americans ended the old Imperial Japan but still choose to get into this old imperial japan mess.
