A 13-year-old Nepali girl was rescued from the sea off Hoi Fai Road in Tai Kok Tsui on Monday evening and is recovering in hospital in what police suspect may have been an attempted suicide.
The girl was spotted in the sea at 7 p.m. by passersby who saved her, Apple Daily reported. She was conscious when police arrived and was moved to the hospital where her father has since visited, Oriental Daily reported. Police are investigating.
