Dressed up in their very best to shine on the red carpet, top actors and entertainers checked in at the 52nd Baeksang Art Awards held Friday night at the Kyung Hee University’s Grand Peace Hall. Everyone from “Descendants of the Sun” stars Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo to the other hotshots of the K-pop republic such as Bae Suzy, Park Bo-gum, Yoo Ah-in, Park So-dam, Joo Won, Park Seo-joon, Jeon Do-yeon and Han Hyo-joo attended the function. Here’s who wore what for the grand ceremony.
Song Joong-ki and Song Hye-kyo came hand-in-hand, posed together on the red carpet and also won the Most Popular Male in TV and Most Popular Female in TV awards. Song Joong-ki came sleek in black, while Hye-kyo was glittering in white. Both were beautiful together.
Co-hosts Bae Suzy and Shin Dong-yup turned up together. Suzy had two looks for the night, the first was actually simple, sleek and sexy. The second dress seemed like a nice match for her sageuk “Sound of a Flower” and the gray floral pattern was so pretty. Bae Suzy and Shin Dong-yup also took up the black and white route but Suzy came in black.
Bae Suzy and Park Bo-gum won the InStyle Best Style award. Park Bo-gum wore a black coat that had velvety design on it.
Park So-dam won the New Actress award for her performance in “The Priests.” Her white dress with subtle pink and green floral designs over it was attractive. Jeon Do-yeon took home the Top Excellence award for her performance in “The Shameless.” Lee Sung-kyung looked stunning on the red carpet in a sheer white gown with stars and a simple headband.
