South Korea’s short stay hotels — known as “love hotels” are shaking off their seedy reputation. The hotels used to be marked by dim hallways, sparsely furnished rooms and secretive parking lots. They catered to couples seeking privacy, but some also engaged in prostitution. That changed after a government crackdown nearly a decade ago. Now the hotels are cleaning up their act — and even going family-friendly. Video
