Chinese rail car manufacturer China Railway Rolling Stock (CRRC) announced on Wednesday a deal to provide 11 eight-car trains to Indonesia for the Jakarta-Bandung rail project.
The sale, which is part of a contract signed earlier this month between a consortium of Chinese and Indonesian firms, is reportedly worth US$364 million. It comes on the heels of CRRC’s US$191 million deal with Malaysian authorities last month.
