أعرب الرئيس اللبناني ميشال عون اليوم الاثنين عن حق لبنان في الدفاع عن النفس، وكان الأمين العام لحزب الله حسن نصر الله، قد توعد إسرائيل أمس الأحد بالرد بعدما سقطت طائرتان مسيرتان إسرائيليتان على الضاحية الجنوبية ببيروت والتي يسيطر عليها حزب الله.
كما قصفت إسرائيل مركزًا قرب دمشق ليل السبت، ادعت أنه كان به فيلق القدس التابع للحرس الجمهوري الإيراني لكن نصر الله أكد أنه مركز لحزب الله بدمشق.
وقال الجيش الإسرائيلي في بيان إن قوة فيلق القدس “كانت تخطط في الأيام الأخيرة لشن هجمات تستهدف مواقع في إسرائيل انطلاقاً من داخل سوريا”.
ورد نصر الله في خطاب متلفز: “أقول للجيش الإسرائيلي على الحدود.. من الليلة قف على الحائط على رجل ونصف وانتظرنا.. يوم يومان ثلاثة أربعة.. انتظرنا.. لأن ما حصل ليلة أمس لن يمر”.
وقال نصر الله إن “ما حصل ليلة أمس هو خطير جداً.. ما حصل ليلة أمس هو هجوم بطائرة مسيرة انتحارية على هدف في الضاحية الجنوبية لبيروت”.
ونشر مكتب عون، وهو حليف لحزب الله، في تغريدة على موقع تويتر قوله إن ”ما حصل هو بمثابة إعلان حرب يتيح لنا اللجوء إلى حقنا بالدفاع عن سيادتنا واستقلالنا وسلامة أراضينا“.
كما وصف نصر الله ما حدث بأنه أول هجوم إسرائيلي منذ حرب 2006 التي دامت شهرًا وراح ضحيتها 1200 لبنانيًا معظمهم من المدنيين، و158 إسرائيليًا، معظمهم جنود في الجيش الإسرائيلي.
