قال محمد ثابت المتحدث باسم شركة الكهرباء في غزة، إن القرار الإسرائيلي، الصادر أمس الإثنين، بخفض إمدادات الوقود إلى القطاع له تأثير خطير على مليوني مواطن في غزة.
وأضاف ثابت لوكالة رويترز: ”نحن حاليًا في أزمة سوف تتفاقم بسبب القرار الإسرائيلي. سيكون لذلك تأثير خطير على حياة مليوني مواطن وعلى المرافق الحيوية كالمستشفيات“.
ووصف القرار بأنه “عقاب جماعي“، حيث يؤدي القرار إلى تقليص ساعات إمداد الكهرباء إلى 4 ساعات فقط بدلًا عن 6 كل 12 ساعة.
وأتى قرار إسرائيل بخفض الوقود ردًا على إطلاق ثلاثة صواريخ من القطاع يوم الأحد باتجاه مدن إسرائيلية. كما شنت إسرائيل هجومًا على القطاع الخاضع لسلطة حركة المقاومة الإسلامية (حماس) منذ عام 2006.
وصرّح الجيش الإسرائيلي في بيان يوم الاثنين: “رداً على ذلك، ضربت طائرات إسرائيلية عدداً من الأهداف الإرهابية في مجمع عسكري تابع لحماس في شمال قطاع غزة، بينها مكتب قائد كتيبة في حماس”، حسب ما نقلته وكالة الأنباء الألمانية.
ولم تتبن حماس إطلاق الصواريخ.
