أعلنت السلطات المصرية عن مقتل 14 شخص اتهمتهم بالضلوع في هجوم على كمين أمني بمدينة العريش في شمال سيناء قُتل على إثره ثمانية أفراد من القوات المسلحة.
وقالت وزارة الداخلية المصرية في بيان عبر صفحتها الرسمية على موقع فيسبوك أمس الأربعاء أنها تتبعت المسئولين عن الهجوم إلى منزل مهجور بحي المساعيد بالعريش وعثرت بحوزتهم على 14 بندقية آلية وثلاث عبوات متفجرة وحزامين ناسفين.
كانت وزارة الداخلية أعلنت مقتل ثمانية أفراد من القوات المسلحة إثر هجوم استهدف كمين أمني غرب العريش فجر الأربعاء. سقط خمسة من منفذي الهجوم في تبادل إطلاق النار مع قوة الكمين، بحسب بيان وزارة الداخلية.
تخوض القوات المسلحة حرب مع مجموعات مسلحة متمركزة في شمال سيناء منذ 2013، ويستهدف المسلحون النقاط الأمنية.
كانت منظمة هيومان رايتس ووتش الأمريكية أصدرت تقرير الأسبوع الماضي بعنوان “من يخشى على حياته يغادر سيناء” تكشف فيه عن تعرض الأبرياء في سيناء لحملة ممنهجة من الاعتقال العشوائي والقتل في إطار حرب الدولة على المجموعات الإرهابية. أنكرت السلطات المصرية المعلومات الصادرة في التقرير.
