Malaysian authorities arrested seven Vietnamese women on Tuesday night in a massage parlor in Selangor, where they were allegedly worked as prostitutes providing special sexual services.
Officers from the Anti-Vice, Gambling and Secret Societies Division (D7) stormed the parlor in Petaling district and arrested the seven women at about 11.30pm on May 14. They confiscated condoms, lubricants, towels and cash, the China Press reported.
Two Malaysian men, who were believed to be customers, were also arrested to help the police investigation.
Preliminary inquiries suggested that the massage parlor, which was unlicensed, was operated by a syndicate which sought to profit from an operation featuring erotic practices such as bondage. Each sexual transaction cost 160 ringgit (US$38).
The brothel only served known or loyal customers, allegedly to avoid being easily detected by the authorities.
The women and the two ‘clients’ were being detained at Serdang District Police headquarters.
