Two passengers were killed and 17 injured when a coach flipped over on a highway in southern Vietnam last week after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The coach was heading from Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Thuan Province on National Highway 1A on May 22 when the crash occurred, Viet Nam News reported.
Nguyen Tu, the 39-year-old driver, lost control of the vehicle while heading towards the Xuan Tan Commune in Long Khanh Town.
A 27-year-old mother and her 3-year-old daughter traveling on the coach were killed in the accident. Some 17 other passengers who were injured were taken to Long Khanh Hospital for treatment.
Local reporters said the coach collided with a stationery motorbike. causing it to flip on its side.
