After getting tips-off and a thorough investigation, the special duty unit at the Eastern Police District raided an apartment on King’s Road in North Point at 7pm, Oriental Daily reported.

They arrested a Hong Kong man, aged 30, for allegedly operating an illegal gambling establishment.

Six people aged from 30 to 53, including four Filipino men, one Filipina and a mainland Chinese man holding two-way permits were found playing arcade machines. They were arrested for illegal gambling.

A Filipino man and a Filipina couldn’t provide any identity documents to police at the time.
